GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU women's basketball team (4-4) is set to take on Kennesaw State (3-6) at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the KSU Convocation Center in Kennesaw, Ga. Fans can watch the game live on ESPN3.

ECU looks to extend its win streak for four games in the first regular season meeting between the Pirates and the Owls. The Pirates are in search of their first road win of the season. Although, ECU has won away from the friendly confines of Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum this season, they have yet to do so as the visiting team.

Ariyana Williams as emerged as one of ECU's top offensive players recording double figures in each of the Pirates' last five games. Senior Center Thais Oliveira has had four 10+ rebound games this season and is second in the American Athletic Conference in blocked shots (15) and blocks per game (1.9). ECU is averaging 61.3 points per game this season and is 2-0 in games in which its hold opponents to less than 59 points.

Kennesaw State enters tonight's game 3-6 overall and began the season with five-straight road games in which the Owls went 1-4 during that stretch at Clemson, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Furman and Presbyterian. Kamiyah Street leads the team with 15.6 points per game and is the Owls only player averaging double figures. Alexis Poole leads the team with 8.6 rebounds and 10 blocks carrying a bulk of the Owls defense. With an average of 53.8 points per game, KSU has been outscored by its opponents by an average of 17.1 points per game.
