ECU Rallies From 17 Down To Defeat Campbell

RESULT
ECU rallied from 17 points down in the second half to earn its third straight overall victory with a 69-66 win over Campbell inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum Monday night. With the victory ECU improves to 5-4 overall, while the Camels fall to 4-5.

TURNING POINT
The Pirates trailed by 17 with 15 minutes to play and slowly began to chip away at the Camels' lead, cutting its deficit to four on a layup by Isaac Fleming with 3:40 remaining. The Pirates allowed Campbell to score on the ensuing possession, but then held it scoreless the remainder of the contest, finishing on a 9-0 run, Fleming's layup with 34 second left put ECU ahead to stay. Jabari Craig and Kentrell Barkley each went 1-for-2 from the line in the final 16 seconds to ensure the win.

Fleming scored 19 points on 5-of-10 shooting with four assists and three rebounds in 37 minutes of action … It was his fifth consecutive game scoring double figures, matching his career-long streak … He led the Pirates in scoring for the third time in the last seven games … Fleming is averaging 18.8 ppg over the last five games.
