RESULT
Tulane snapped a three-game losing streak to ECU with a 71-69 overtime win against the Pirates inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum Wednesday night.

TURNING POINT
After Melvin Frazier scored the go-ahead basket to give Tulane a 71-69 lead with 40 seconds remaining in overtime, Cameron Reynolds came up with a steal with five seconds remaining forcing ECU to foul. Reynolds missed the front end of a 1-and-1, but Frazier took the ball away from the Pirates at midcourt as time ran out.

ECU PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Kentrell Barkley posted his fifth double-double of the season and 18^th of his career with 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds. Barkley scored eight points and grabbed 13 rebounds after halftime and now stands just 12 rebounds shy of 600 for his career. He was 6-of-11 shooting and played all 45 minutes.

TULANE PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Melvin Frazier scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the first half. He also tied Blake Paul with a team-high eight rebounds, while distributing a team-best four assists. Frazier was averaging 17.1 points per game coming into the contest.

KEY PERFORMERS
B.J. Tyson forced overtime with a shot in the lane while falling down on a length of the court pass from Barkley … Tyson finished with 12 points … Shawn Williams led the Pirates with 15 points, but made only one 3-pointer … Isaac Fleming has 10 points, five assists and four steals … K.J. Davis scored double figures for the first time in his career, going 3-of-5 outside the arc and 1-of-2 at the free throw line.

Tulane outscored ECU, 4-2, in overtime … After allowing Tulane to shoot 51.7 percent in the first half, ECU buckled down and held the Green Wave to just 37.9 percent shooting the second half and 28.6 percent in overtime … The Pirates shot 56.3 percent in the second half and finished the game at 46.0 percent … Tulane scored 15 points off 12 offensive rebounds and 20 points off 18 ECU turnovers … The two teams combined to go 7-for-42 (.167) outside the 3-point arc … The Green Wave converted 12-of-18 free throw attempts, while ECU made just 7-of-14.
