Verity And Johnson Named November Student-Athletes of the Month

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Jake Verity (Football) and Raven Johnson (Women's Basketball) have been selected the Student-Athletes of the Month for November following an outstanding month athletically.

Verity connected on a career-long 52-yard field goal versus Memphis on Nov. 3 and ended the season successful on 19Â of his 21Â field goal attempts. He ranks fourth among NCAA active leaders in field goals per game as well as pacing the American Athletic Conference. Verity is currently sixth in the nation in field goal percentage.

Johnson guided ECU to a 5-1 record in November, including a 70-61 home victory over Wake Forest. She leads the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game and three-point field goals made (11). Johnson was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll twice during November.
