Virginia Challenge Live Results | Duke Invitational Live Results
GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU track and field program will attend two meets this weekend in final preparation for the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, competing in the Duke Invitational and Virginia Challenge. Both events are scheduled for April 20-21 in Durham, N.C. and Charlottesville, Va. Â
Â
"This is our last tune up before the conference championship meet," Director of Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Curt Kraft said. "It is very important that both teams come out of this weekend's meet with a lot of confidence and energy going into the AAC Outdoor Championships. The great thing about this weekend's meet is that we will face ACC competition."
Â
Last weekend, the Pirates participated in the Aggie Invitational on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University and showed very well. ECU posted 11 event victories in arguably its best meet of the season. Senior Hunter Roberts was tabbed the American Athletic Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week after taking over the conference lead in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.45.
