August 31, 2018 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
GREENVILLE, N.C. --- There is renewed enthusiasm for ECU Basketball with the return of head coach Joe Dooley, who steered the Pirates' program for four years in the late 1990s and owns the highest winning percentage in the school's Division I era, and it is time for fans to help keep the momentum going by purchasing season tickets for the 2018-19 campaign.
Â
Beginning Sept. 1, fans can purchase season tickets by utilizing ECU's Online Ticket Center, or by calling the ECU Ticket Office at 1-800-342-5328. Season tickets are priced at $250 for Pirate Club Priority seating and $205 for ECU faculty and staff. Economy plans and young graduate season tickets are available for $125 each.
Â
Purchases made by the Oct. 1 priority deadline will lock the buyer into this year's pricing for the next two seasons. All reserved seats will be sold based upon Pirate Club Membership levels and priority points ranking. Pirate Club memberships are available at ecupirateclub.com.
Â
Renewal applications are in the process of being mailed to 2017-18 season ticket holders.
Â
Each of the four American Athletic Conference teams that earned postseason bids during 2017-18 will visit Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum during the upcoming year as Cincinnati, Houston and Wichita State each played in the NCAA Tournament last season with Temple participating in the NIT. The Pirates are also scheduled to host UConn, Memphis, USF, Tulane and Tulsa as part of their home schedule. Non-conference games will be released at a later date.
Â
Women's basketball season tickets will also go on sale Sept. 1 with general admission seating priced at $45. ECU faculty and staff can purchase tickets for $35 with purple chairback seating available for $60.
