The Pirates (11-3), who claimed their third Top 4 finish in the event following the team title in 2014 and a runner-up finish in 2015, shot a combined 10-over par (288-282-304), which included a second round score of 282 (6-under) the seventh-lowest round in program history. Senior Carley Cox claimed her fifth career Top 10 finish posting a score of 217 (1-over par) to lead the Pirates.

"I saw a lot of good things out of our team in the first tournament," said ECU Head Coach Kevin Williams. "We were challenged in the final round with a bunch of wind. We have to be better controlling the golf ball in the wind. Overall, I was pleased with what I saw on the first day especially the second round shooting a six-under 282."
Ā
Junior Dorthea Forbrigd earned her 14th career Top 20 placement after carding a 4-over par 220 for a share of 17th place. Sophomore Kathryn Carson and junior Siranon Shoomee both finished tied for 22nd with scores of 221 (5-over), while senior Kate Law shot an 11-over par 227 for a share of 53rd.
