•Tristen Newton is one of three freshman to rank among the top five in The American in assists per game this season. Newton is averaging 3.8 dimes per contest, which is the third-highest average in the league heading to play Sunday ... He has scored double figures three times this season ... Newton dropped 20 on VMI during the season-opener and 18 on Evansville ... Newton is the only freshman in The American to rank among the top 20 in minutes played, averaging 33.2 minutes per game, fourth-highest.
•Senior Seth LeDay is shooting 53.7 percent from the field this season and is 15-of-24 shooting (.625) the last four games ...
