March 19, 2019 | Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving, Swimming & Diving
GREENVILLE, N.C. - The 2018-19 ECU swimming and diving teams enjoyed another terrific season in the pool and on the diving boards, with 16 student-athletes combining for 36 all-conference performances and setting nine varsity records, while eight swimmers posted NCAA B qualifying times and four divers registered NCAA zone qualifying scores.
The ECU men's team posted a 4-2 record for its 36th consecutive season with a record at or above .500, while the ladies finished 4-3 to extend its consecutive winning season streak to 27.
"It was another strong season," ECU Head Coach Matthew Jabs said. "Our team did a great job at The American Championships. We won a bunch of events, set team and meet records, along with a bunch of ECU All-Time Top-10 performances, and personal bests. It was a long, but successful season. I can't say enough about the work the team put in, especially our coaches. They ae some of the best."Â Â
