GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team travels to Gardner-Webb Thursday for an 11 a.m. tilt with the Runnin' Bulldogs at Paul Porter Arena. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates shook off a slow start to blow past UMES 67-41 last time out. Micah Dennis set the tone at the point in the third quarter with a pair of triples as the team blew the lead open and never looked back. Danae McNeal led the way on the day for ECU with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and six steals.

Scouting the Runnin' Bulldogs
The Runnin' Bulldogs have gotten off to a strong start to the year with a 7-3 record in which all three losses have come on the road or neutral site in Clemson, Alabama and SMU. The team does have a common opponent with ECU as well, in their most recent contest on Monday, a 61-56 victory over the VCU Rams in Richmond.

Gardner-Webb is led in scoring by Jhessyka Williams with a strong 17.6 points per game while two other players in Alasia Smith and Lauren Bevis are also averaging over 13-points per contest.
