Game Times Announced For Greenville Super Regional

GREENVILLE, N.C. – No. 8 National Seed East Carolina will play host to its first on-campus Super Regional Friday, June 10 against No. 9 seeded Texas at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium. First pitch of the series is set for 12 noon (ET) and will be aired on ESPN2.

The Pirates (45-19), who will be making their third-straight Super Regional appearance and fourth under head coach Cliff Godwin, will face the Longhorns (45-19) for the first time in program history. ECU advanced to its seventh overall Super Regional after posting a 3-1 record in the Greenville Regional, while Texas swept through the Austin Regional with a 3-0 ledger.

On Tuesday, the NCAA announced the full slate of Super Regional matchups including the Greenville Super Regional. The Pirates will play Friday, June 10 at 12 Noon (ESPN2) and Saturday, June 11 at 12 Noon (ESPN2). Game three of the weekend, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, June 12 with game time to be determined.
