GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer returns home to Johnson Stadium for a match with the High Point Panthers on Thursday. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Attendance is free to the public and the game will be available for streaming on the ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates fell to No. 12 South Carolina on the road 2-0. Grace Doran and Anabelle Abbott recorded shots on goal, but the Pirates were unable to find the net while conceding two tough goals to the Gamecocks.

Scouting the Panthers
High Point was picked to finish second in the Big South Conference, receiving three first-place votes. So far on the season, the Panthers are 0-0-2 with a 1-1 draw with American and a 2-2 draw with Marshall. They've spread the wealth with three goals by three players.

High Point keeper Morgan Hairston has an identical stat line with eight saves and a .727 save percentage. Goal support from the Panthers offense has resulted in draws instead of losses for Hairston.

Series History
East Carolina leads the all-time series 6-1 with the first matchup coming in 1998 with a 3-0 Pirates victory. The teams met most recently last season with a 2-1 ECU win at High Point. That game was the first between the schools since 2013. From '98 to 2012, ECU won the first five matchups of the series.
