Pirates Gear Up For Evie Odom Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team returns to the links on Thursday, Sept. 29 to compete in the Evie Odom Invitational at the par-70, 5,824-yard Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va.

The 54-hole tournament will be hosted by Old Dominion, and it marks the second year that the tournament will be played under the name Evie Odom.

ECU is coming off a 62-over par 926 outing in the Badger Invitational that resulted in an 18^th place finish. Sophomore Marta Perez finished 9-over par 225 for a 37^th place tie to lead the Pirates.

Joining Perez in the Pirates' lineup for the 1:30 p.m. shotgun start will be Oda Sofie Kilsti, Andrea Miralles Llopis, Danielle Modder and Caroline Hermes.

In addition to the Pirates and host ODU, the field will be composed of 13 other teams including Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, High Point, Indiana, James Madison, Middle Tennessee State, Minnesota, North Florida, Penn State, Princeton, Sacramento State and South Florida.
