
ECU Hosts Tri-Meet Saturday For Senior Day

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's swimming and diving team will host its final home meet of the 2022-23 season welcoming in Old Dominion and William & Mary for Senior Day on Saturday, Jan 14 at 1 p.m. (EST).

Recognition for the five-member senior class in Meghan French, Anna Otto, Randi Palandro, Caitlin Reynera and Polina Rukosuev is slated to begin around 12:40 p.m.

Last week against Liberty, Reynera won the 100 breaststroke (1:03.56) and 200 breaststroke (2:17.88) posting dual meet personal records for the season. Rukosuev posted wins in both the 500 free (5:03.68) and 1000 free (10:21.70), while Sara Kalawska took top honors by sweeping the 100 fly (56.85) and 200 fly (2:04.43).

Flanary Patterson finished first in the 1-meter (277.65) and 3-meter (265.95) dives, while Otto took second in the 1-meter (269.85) and third in the 3-meter (253.13). Both Patterson and Otto also qualified for the NCAA Zones with their 1-meter performances on the afternoon.

Order of events for Saturday are: 200 Medley Relay, 1000 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Butterfly, 50 Freestyle, 1-Meter Diving (exhibition), 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, 500 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, 3-Meter Diving (exhibition), 200 IM, 400 Freestyle Relay.
