GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team returns to Minges Coliseum to host the Tulane Green Wave on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Pirates earned a hard-fought AAC road win last time out at Memphis. Danae McNeal led all scorers with 20 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter alone, leading a 10-0 ECU run over less than three minutes which gave the team a lead it wouldn't relinquish. In addition to McNeal, Amiya Joyner had her fourth-straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Scouting the Green Wave
Tulane has gotten off to a 10-5 start as well but has done it in a different way than ECU. The Green Wave have quality losses to LSU and Alabama but after jumping out to a 10-3 start, the team has dropped their first two conference matchups, including last time out in a three-point margin against Houston.

Tulane is led in scoring and rebounding by Marta Galic with 13.5 and 7.5 per contest while shooting .437 from the field, .424 from deep and .846 from the foul line. Dynah Jones and Kyren Whittington are also scoring in double figures with 12.9 and 11.9, respectively.

Series History
Tulane has controlled the series with a 20-9 edge all time. The series has been more even in recent years, however, and coach Kim McNeill currently sits at 2-2 against the Green Wave including. Tulane did take the last matchup, though, 75-55 in New Orleans a year ago. Three Pirates scored in double figures that day, led by Da'Ja Green with 14.
