ECU Set To Host Ironwood Collegiate Classic

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina men's golf team will return to action on Monday, Oct. 2 when it plays host to the 2023 Ironwood Collegiate Classic. The two-day, 54-hole event will be held at Ironwood Golf and Country Club (par-72; 7,120 yards).

First round action is set to begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Monday, while Tuesday's round begins at 8 a.m. from the first and 10th tees.

East Carolina, who will playing in its third event of the season, will use a lineup consisting of sophomore Lucas Augustsson (No. 1), junior Carter Busse (No. 2), sophomore Philip Linberg Bondestad (No. 3), graduate Ethan Hall (No. 4) and freshman Nathan O'Neal (No. 5). The Pirates will also send out five individuals in freshman Drew Greene, freshman Adam Lennermark, freshman Drew O'Neal, sophomore Davis DeLille and junior Tyler DeChellis.

Joining the Pirates in the 13-team field are Appalachian State, Barton College, California Baptist, Delaware, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, N.C. A&T, Old Dominion, Presbyterian College, Radford, Temple and Winthrop.
