
Pirates Finish Seventh At Evie Odom Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The East Carolina women's golf team finished seventh (35-over par 875) to conclude its weekend at the Evie Odom Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The three-day event was being held at the par-70, 5,824-yard Princess Anne Country Club.

Sophomore Danielle Modder carded a final score of 5-over par 215, finishing at 17th to lead the Pirates. Freshman Nicole Nash shot 7-over 217 to tie for 20th and fellow freshman Ella Stalvey tallied a final scorecard of 9-over par 219 for a tie at 28th.
"Proud of the resilience shown by the entire team this weekend at Princess Anne Country Club," assistant coach Kathryn Carson said. "Saw a lot of positives as we continue to improve."
Graduate student Oda Sofie Kilsti shot 14-over 224 to tie for 50th and junior Zoe Allaux finished 83rd (35-over 235) to round out East Carolina's lineup.

UCF shot 10-over par 850 to claim the team title, followed by Kent State (15-over 855) and Chattanooga (20-over 860). Furman (22-over 862) and Old Dominion (26-over 866) rounded out the top-five teams for the tournament.
