Last Time Out
The Pirates dropped a disappointing game at VCU on Tuesday night. The team struggled to find any fluidity and ultimately were unable to muster enough scoring to come out on top despite holding the Rams to 55 points and 31 turnovers. Amiya Joyner and Danae McNeal put up fair stats in the game with Joyner registering eight points, 11 rebounds, six steals and a pair of blocks and McNeal putting up 18 points with three steals, but it was not enough to overcome the sluggish offensive outing nor the team's 7-17 clip from the foul line in the game.

Scouting Ohio State
The Buckeyes enter the game with a 2-1 record and a No. 15 ranking in the AP Poll (No. 10 Coaches) coming off of a comfortable 22-point win over Boston College in their last outing. The lone loss of the season for the team remains a season-opening defeat to the dynamic USC Trojans and their all-world freshman JuJu Watkins. The Buckeyes are led by a three-headed monster with Jacy Sheldon, Cotie McMahon and Taylor Thierry all scoring north of 15 points per game with Thierry also leading the team in rebounding with over six per contest.
Â
Scouting Seton Hall
The Pirates of Seton Hall have gotten off to a solid start to their season with a 19-point win over Rutgers last time out. Micah Gray leads the team with 16.0 points per game while Azana Baines is putting up a phenomenal 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. As a team, the Pirates are shooting a solid .465 clip from the field, including a .343 mark from deep with 24 makes from behind the arc in just four games.
Â
Series Histories
The Pirates have only ever played Ohio State and Seton Hall one time each over the years, an 81-80 ECU win in 1978 and a 75-71 loss in 1996, respectively.
