The first 500 fans in attendance will also receive a commemorative replica banner.
Â
Last Time Out
The Pirates shook off some early rust to run by the Elon Phoenix by a healthy margin in their season opener. Danae McNeal took command in the second half with 16 points in the final 20 minutes while Amiya Joyner went for 16 points and seven rebounds. The Pirates used their signature pressing defense to stifle Elon, forcing 31 turnovers with 20 steals in the game.

Scouting the Spartans
USC Upstate opened the season in dubious fashion with an 86-51 loss at the hands of Davidson on Tuesday night. No Upstate player scored in double figures in the game with two players putting up seven points in the game while the team's leading rebounder mustered only seven boards. The closest quarter in the contest was the final one in which Davidson still outscored the Spartans 15-12.

Series History
The Pirates and Spartans have met three times throughout their histories, all within recent memory with ECU emerging victorious from all previous meetings. The most recent matchup came in 2019 when Taniyah Thompson led all scorers with a 25-point outing in a 69-48 victory.
