
Mosley Signs NLI With East Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Luke Mosley has signed a national letter of intent to play golf at East Carolina University for the 2024-25 year according to an announcement by director of golf/men's head coach Kevin Williams Thursday morning.

"Luke fits the type of student-athlete we are looking for in our program," Williams said. "He is someone with a tremendous upside golf wise and just as accomplished in the classroom. The strength of Luke's golf game is his ball striking. He is long off the tee and has a tremendous work ethic. We are excited to get Luke on campus next fall and watch him flourish as a Pirate!!"

A Greenville, N.C. native, Mosley helped J.H. Rose to the 3A North Carolina state team title in 2022 where he also earned individual honors taking home the NCSHAA crown. He claimed runner-up honors at the 2022 Jimmy Anderson Boys Invitational and the 2023 Carolinas Junior Boys Championship, while earning semifinalist honors at the 2023 N.C. Junior Boys Championship. In 2023, Mosely won the 2023 NCHSAA 3A Regional individual title.

"I always knew I wanted to be a Pirate growing up in Greenville," Mosely said. "My grandparents are Pirates, my parents are Pirates and now I am too!!!

His work ethic on the course as well as in the classroom fits our team goals perfectly. Signing a local player like Luke generates great community buzz around the team.
