Pirate Student-Athletes Earn Degrees

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Twenty current and former East Carolina University student-athletes have completed requirements for and will receive their degrees during the 115th fall commencement ceremonies Friday.

Payton Hudson (softball) is the lone member of the group to receive a postgraduate degree earning a master's in accounting. Eleven of 20 student-athletes have earned an undergraduate degree in communications, while nine members of the football team will officially graduate on Dec. 15.
