GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina men's basketball team returns to the court for the first time in 11 days on Wednesday night when the Pirates welcome Cincinnati to Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed via ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson and Si Seymour on the call.

Last Time Out
Brandon Johnson scored a career-high 27 points on 8-of-12 shooting as East Carolina outlasted SMU 77-72 on Feb. 4 at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum. Ezra Ausar recorded his first career double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds, both of which were career marks and RJ Felton added 18 points in 40 minutes played for the Pirates. Jaden Walker turned in a strong performance running the point as he dished out a career-high eight assists and only committed two turnovers.

Scouting The Bearcats
Cincinnati is coming off an 84-65 victory at home over South Florida on Feb. 11, led by Ody Oguama's career-high 18 points on 9-of-9 shooting from the floor. Jeremiah Davenport added 18 points as well on 4-of-9 shooting on three-point attempts. After trailing 38-34 at the break, Cincinnati shot 66 percent from the floor and outscored South Florida 50-27 to cruise to victory. The Bearcats currently have three players that average double figure scoring numbers led by Landers Nolley II (16.1 ppg) which is ninth-best in the AAC. Nolley II is also second in the league in three-point percentage at 43.8 percent. David DeJulius (14.3 ppg) and Viktor Lakhin (12.5 ppg) round out the Bearcats' top scorers. Cincinnati is one of only three teams in the AAC that features a top-five scoring offense and defense (Houston and UCF).

The Bearcats hold a 12-2 advantage over the Pirates in AAC play and ECU has not defeated Cincinnati since Jan. 5, 2019 in Minges Coliseum.
