
Pirates Set To Begin Spring Season on Friday

EATONTON, Ga. – The East Carolina women's golf team is set to start their spring season this weekend when the Pirates compete in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite Feb. 17-19. The tournament will take place at the par-72, 6,001 yards Great Waters golf course in Eatonton, Ga.

Joining the Pirates will be Clemson, Delaware, Middle Tennessee, Butler, Western Kentucky, South Dakota State and tournament host Mercer.

ECU will tee off on Thursday with a lineup of Danielle Modder, Caroline Hermes, Marta Perez, Oda Sofie Kilsti and Andrea Miralles Llopis.

The Pirates concluded their fall slate with a 52-over par 916 outing at the Charlotte Invitational Oct. 24-25. Kilsti and Modder recorded two top-10 finishes for ECU and Perez also tallied a top-10 finish in the fall, placing fourth at the Pirate Collegiate Classic.
