GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's tennis team returned home this weekend and split a pair of matches, falling to Richmond 5-2 before bouncing back with a 7-0 win over Hampton at the River Birch Tennis Center.

The Pirates notched their fourth victory of the season, matching last year's win total in just nine attempts.

Martina Muzzolon and Alisha Hussain won both of their singles bouts as Muzzolon upped her spring dual record to a team-best 6-1. ECU swept the doubles point in the match with Hampton as the team of Hussain and Ines Bachir captured their squad-high sixth victory.

Up Next: East Carolina is back in action at the River Birch Tennis Center Feb. 24 with a matchup against Chowan. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
