
Pirates Set To Compete In UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The East Carolina women's golf team is set for its second tournament of the spring season on Mar. 6-7 when the Pirates take part in the University of North Florida Collegiate at the par-72, 5,964-yard Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Joining the Pirates and host North Florida in the two-day tournament are Sam Houston State, Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, Oral Roberts, Memphis, South Alabama, Western Kentucky, Iowa, Kennesaw State, Xavier, Penn State, Charlotte, Furman and Eastern Kentucky.

ECU is coming off a seventh-place finish at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite on Feb. 17-19 where the Pirates shot 50-over par 914 as a team, led by Marta Perez who tied for 20th with an 11-over par 227 outing.

East Carolina will return to the links quickly as the Pirates head to Charleston, S.C. to compete in the Briar's Creek Invitational Mar. 13-14.
