GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer team is back at Johnson Stadium Thursday as they host the UNCW Seahawks for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The game is free to attend and will be available for streaming on ESPN+. Zach Berly and Brianna Pinto will be on the call.

Last Time Out
The Pirates kept it rolling with a 1-0 win on the road against the Campbell Camels. Lucy Fazackerley scored her first career goal on a header on the feed from Catherine Holbrook in just the fifth minute. There were a few chances but no goals the rest of the way and with five minutes to play the Pirates took the ball to the corner flag and held strong to bleed the clock out for the victory. The shutout was the team's third straight and Maeve English's 15th of her career.

Scouting the Seahawks
UNCW enters the match looking to turn things around off of a 5-0 loss to VCU and a 3-0 loss to Liberty last time out. The team is yet to score a regular season goal. So far on the year, the Seahawks have been out shot 40-18 while mustering only seven shots on frame.

Series History
The Pirates and Seahawks have a long history together with ECU holding a 15-7-2 all-time edge, including a 1-0 victory on the road a season ago. Annabelle Abbott scored the winner with Catherine Holbrook assisting. UNCW had their chances but Maeve English made four second-half saves to hold on for the win.
