GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team is set for a neutral site meeting with Montana State in Las Vegas, Nev. on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. ET in UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center.

Last Time Out
The Pirates handled Howard on Education Day last time out before a record-breaking crowd of 6.865 fans, representing the largest crowd in ECU history for a women's game. Amiya Joyner was phenomenal in the game with 32 points and 15 rebounds, notching the first such game for a Pirate since 2004. Jayla Hearp and Khia Miller also had solid days with 13 and 11 points apiece, Hearp going 3-4 from behind the arc.

Scouting Montana State
The Bobcats enter the game with a solid 4-1 record despite dropping their last contest to Utah on the road on Sunday. Marah Dykstra and Esmeralda Morales represent a two-headed monster for the team with 14.6 and 14.4 points per game to lead the way while Katelynn Martin has contributed 10.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game to lead the Bobcats on the glass. The team is an excellent group defensively as well with 27.0 forced turnovers and 15.0 steals per game on the year.

Series History
Wednesday will be the first ever meeting between East Carolina and Montana State.

Weekly Honors
Amiya Joyner was named the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Week on Monday. It was the 10th weekly recognition of her career with one Player fo the Week nod last season and eight Freshman of the Week honors as a rookie.
