GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team will close out their Las Vegas swing on Friday as they take on the UNLV Lady Rebels at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Thomas & Mack Center. The game will be available for streaming on the Mountain West Network online.

Last Time Out
The Pirates came up short against Montana State on Wednesday as the Bobcats used a 27-9 run across the second and third quarter to grow a lead ECU couldn't erase. Jayla Hearp and Amiya Joyner scored in double figures in the game but the Pirates turned the ball over 29 times, resulting in 24 points off turnovers for Montana State. The Pirates did manage to get within three points in the third quarter but could never get over the hump after relinquishing the lead in the first half.

Scouting UNLV
The Lady Rebels enter the game with a 5-2 record after defeating UCF in their last contest. The team is led in scoring by the duo of Kiara Jackson and Amarachi Kimpson with 13.0 per game each while McKinna Brackens is averaging 11.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest to pace UNLV on the glass. The Lady Rebels are a strong offensive team on the year with a .429 clip from the field and just 11.4 turnovers per game.

Friday's contest will be the first between East Carolina and UNLV.

Weekly Honors
Amiya Joyner was named the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Week on Monday. It was the 10th weekly recognition of her career with one Player fo the Week nod last season and eight Freshman of the Week honors as a rookie.
