GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team travels north to Virginia for a Thursday morning battle with Hampton at 11 a.m. in the Convocation Center. The game will be available for streaming on FloHoops ($).

Last Time Out
The Pirates shook off a two-game skid for a comfortable win over Elon in Minges on Sunday. Khia Miller starred on the day with a career-high 24 points, including a 4-6 clip from three-point range. Amiya Joyner had a solid day, just missing out on a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds while Taliyah Wyche went for nine points and six boards. Despite some nervous-making moments in the first half, the Pirates controlled the game, leading for 33:33 of game time.

Scouting Hampton
The Lady Pirates enter the game with a 2-4 record after a stunning overtime win at Georgia in their last outing. Jasha Clinton went for 20 points and five steals in that game and for the season it is Clinton who leads the way with 13.8 points per game on a better than 40 percent clip from the field.

Series History
These two Pirate squads have met 10 times since their initial meeting in 1985 with an 8-2 edge for ECU, including three in a row since Kim McNeill took the helm. It was a home win for ECU last season, 75-55, with Danae McNeal pouring in 31 points and seven steals.

Weekly Recognition
Khia Miller was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly Honorable Mention list for her efforts against Elon in which she scored a career high 24 points on 8-13 from the field, including 4-6 from three-point range as well as a perfect 4-4 clip from the foul line.
