GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina men's basketball team is set to conclude its two-game homestand on Sunday afternoon when the Pirates welcome Tulane to Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

The game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. tip and will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson (play-by-play) and Si Seymour (analyst) on the call. Sunday's game can also be heard on the ECU Sports Network 107.9 FM or 9.43 The Game with Daron Vaught (play-by-play) and Michael Perry (analyst) handling broadcasting duties.

RJ Felton leads East Carolina with 16.4 points per game (6th in AAC) and is sixth in the league in steals per game at 1.9. Brandon Johnson and Ezra Ausar round out the Pirates' top scorers with 13.8 and 12.5 points per game respectively. Johnson leads the team on the glass with 8.5 rebounds per contest which is third in the league. Bobby Pettiford Jr. leads the Pirates with 3.5 assists per game and is first in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.11 (18th in NCAA).

Brandon Johnson scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as East Carolina defeated Wichita State 68-55 inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on Thursday evening. RJ Felton added 21 points and seven rebounds for the Pirates (13-12, 6-6 AAC) who raced out to a 19-point lead before holding off a late second half rally from the Shockers. Bobby Pettiford Jr. added eight points and four assists off the bench and Cam Hayes provided seven points.

Entering Sunday's game, RJ Felton is only six points away from becoming the 34th player in program history to score 1,000 points in a Pirate uniform. Felton has scored at least 10 or more points in 17 consecutive games this season.

Scouting the Green Wave
Tulane enters Sunday's contest on a two-game skid, dropping its last game to SMU at home 87-79, despite having three players in double figures led by Kevin Cross' 20 points. The Green Wave are 2-5 on the road this season and have dropped their last four road contests. Kevin Cross leads the Green Wave in scoring with 18.2 points per game (5th in AAC) and Cross is also top-five in the conference in rebounding with 7.6 boards per game. Tulane features a high-octane offense as the Green Wave lead the league in scoring (84.5 ppg), field goal percentage (48.2) and turnover margin (+2.9). Tulane has scored at least 75 or more points in six of their last seven games.

Series History
East Carolina leads the all-time series with Tulane 18-17 with both teams splitting last year's meetings as the Pirates took down the Green Wave at home, 83-68, before Tulane returned the favor in New Orleans just two days later, 81-78. The teams have traded wins in their last six meetings and ECU is 11-7 against Tulane at home.

ECU is 10-9 in games played on Feb. 18 since the 1960-61 season with the last game on this date coming during the 2017-18 campaign when the Pirates lost at home to UConn, 84-80.
