ECU Set To Host Ironwood Collegiate Classic

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina men's golf team will return to action on Monday, Sept. 30 when it plays host to the 2024 Ironwood Collegiate Classic. The two-day, 54-hole event will be held at Ironwood Golf and Country Club.

First round action is set to begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (ET) on Monday and Tuesday's final round will also start at 9 a.m. (ET) with a shotgun start.

East Carolina, who will be playing in its third event of the season will use a line consisting of junior Philip Linberg Bondestad (No. 1), sophomore Nathan O'Neal (No. 2), senior Carter Busse (No. 3), senior Tyler DeChellis (No. 4) and sophomore Adam Lennermark (No. 5). The Pirates will also send out four individuals in junior Davis DeLille, freshmen Luke Mosley and Holden Rucker as well as sophomore Drew O'Neal. ECU's starting five will begin on the first three holes, while the individuals will start on holes 13 and 14.

Joining the Pirates in the 15-team field are Appalachian State, Barton College, UCF, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Long Island, N.C. A&T, Old Dominion, Queens University, Presbyterian, Temple, UMES and West Georgia.
