GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina returns to the friendly confines of Minges Coliseum on Saturday afternoon as the Pirates face South Florida for the second time this season and are seeking their third straight win in conference play.

The game is set to start at 1 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ESPN+ with Evan Budrovich (play-by-play) and Si Seymour (analyst) on the call and Matison Little (sideline) reporting from the baseline. ECU is led in scoring by All-AAC Preseason First Team guard RJ Felton's 18.2 points per game and the senior leads the team with 6.9 rebounds per game. C.J. Walker supplies secondary scoring with 16.9 ppg and adds 6.9 rebounds per game while Jordan Riley averages 14.3 ppg and 5.7 rpg to round out ECU's double figure scorers. The quartet of Felton, Walker, Riley and Cam Hayes make up 77 percent of the Pirates' point production.

Last Time Out
Jordan Riley scored a career-high 27 points as East Carolina rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to defeat Tulsa, 85-76, in overtime on Tuesday evening at Donald W. Reynolds Coliseum. RJ Felton added 24 points for the Pirates who have swept both legs of a back-to-back conference road trip for the first time since joining the American.

Scouting the Bulls
South Florida enters Saturday's game off a 69-61 loss at Charlotte on Wednesday night. AAC Preseason Second Team guard Jayden Reid leads the Bulls in scoring with 12.9 points per game. Jamille Reynolds (11.6 ppg) and Kobe Knox (10.4 ppg) round out South Florida's double figure scorers. The Bulls are 1-5 in road games this season. South Florida is second in the AAC in field goal percentage (46.9) and are just in front of the Pirates at third in the league in steals per game (8.0)

Series History
South Florida leads the all-time series with East Carolina 17-12, taking five of the last six meetings including a 75-69 New Year's Eve win in Tampa this year. ECU is 7-7 versus USF at Minges Coliseum as the last time the Pirates won at home against the Bulls was on Feb. 23, 2022, 64-60.

On This Date
The Pirates are 8-7 in games played on Jan. 25 with the last game on this date coming during the 2019-20 season as the Pirates defeated Tulane at home, 81-62. One of ECU's wins on this date was against South Florida back in 2002-03 when the Pirates outlasted the Bulls, 68-62, at home in double overtime.
