
Pirates Set To Compete At Gamecock Invitational

Columbia, S.C. – The East Carolina swimming and diving team is set to return to the pool this week when the Pirates compete at the Gamecock Invitational Nov. 19-21.
The meet will be hosted by South Carolina and contested at the Carolina Natatorium.
Joining the Pirates and Gamecocks will be North Carolina, Georgia Southern, North Florida, Carson-Newman, Florida Southern, Tampa and the Savannah College of Art & Design.
The Pirates' swimmers are coming off a dual meet sweep back on Nov. 1 when East Carolina defeated Lynchburg 226-63 and Barton 228-39 with Tanith Mueller, Alyssa Jackson, Carlie Clements and Mikayla Durkin all earning first place in an event and the Pirates' 400-medley relay and 200-free relay taking first as well.
