GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina returns home and starts the month of December with a five-game homestand beginning on Tuesday evening against UMES inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
Tipoff time is slated for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson (play-by-play) and Jay Sonnhalter (analyst) on the call. Pirate fans can also tune into 107.9 WNCT FM, 94.3 The Game or download the IBX app to hear Daron Vaught call the action.
ECU is led in scoring by Jordan Riley's 19.2 points per game after the senior combined to score 41 points in the Pirates' two games at Fort Myers last week, including a career-high 28 points against St. Bonaventure. Giovanni Emejuru is the team's other double figure scorer, averaging 14.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Jordan Riley scored a career-high 28 points on 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc, but East Carolina fell, 67-58, to St. Bonaventure on Thanksgiving Day in its second and final game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

UMES is coming off an 84-60 win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday behind 19 points and seven rebounds from Joseph Locandro. Locandro leads the Hawks in scoring with 12.3 points per game and from behind the arc with a shooting percentage of 53.8 percent. The Hawks are 1-5 on the road this season with the lone win coming at Longwood on Nov. 18.

East Carolina leads the all-time series with Maryland Eastern Shore 3-0 as the teams last met on Dec. 4, 2023, inside Minges where the Pirates won, 63-52. All three previous meetings have taken place in Greenville.
