GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina continues its five-game homestand and looks to string together back-to-back wins this Saturday when the Pirates face off with UNCG inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson (play-by-play) and Jay Sonnhalter (analyst) on the call while Matison Little (sideline) will be reporting from the baseline. Pirate fans can also tune into 107.9 WNCT FM, 94.3 The Game or download the IBX app to hear Daron Vaught call the action.

Jordan Riley leads the Pirates in scoring with 19 points per game and the senior guard has scored in double figures in every game he has played in this season. Giovanni Emejuru adds 13.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per contest while Tybo Bailey provides 9.3 points a night.

Last Time Out
Jordan Riley scored a game-high 18 points as East Carolina snapped a four-game skid with a 68-56 win over UMES on Tuesday night inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. Isaiah Mbeng and Corey Caulker also provided offensive punch with season-highs of 14 and 12 points respectively.

Scouting the Spartans
UNCG comes into Saturday's contest having lost its last three games, including an 82-77 defeat at the hands of UNC Asheville on Tuesday night. The Spartans have three players that average double figures in scoring, led by Justin Neely's 13 points per game. Donald Whitehead Jr. (12.8 ppg) and KJ Younger (11.6 ppg) round out UNCG's top scorers.

Series History
East Carolina leads the all-time series with UNCG 11-2 with the last meeting between the two programs coming at Minges back on Dec. 20, 2014, when the Pirates won 71-50. ECU has won the last eight meetings in the series and is 6-1 against the Spartans in Greenville.

On This Date
ECU is 7-10 in games played on Dec. 6 with the last contest on this date coming during the 2022-23 season, a 74-61 loss on the road to UNCW. The Pirates have played UNCG on Dec. 6 before back in the 2005-06 season when ECU fell at home to the Spartans, 78-70.
