ECU Concludes Day 3 Of AAC Championhips

DALLAS, Texas – The East Carolina women's swimming and diving team sits in fourth place after earning 367 points through three days of the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championships. Rice leads with 1,004.5 points followed by FIU (967), Tulane (842.5), ECU (818), North Texas (789) and Florida Atlantic (659).

Frida Zuniga Guzman took second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 332.70 earning 28 points, while Olivia Templeton placed seventh in the A-Finals posting a score of 259.20 for 23 points. The 200-yard medley relay team finished fourth with a time of 1:39.31 for 52 points. Abbey Pickel finished ninth overall in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:25.51 in the B-Finals. Scoring 20 points.

In the 100-yard butterfly, Sara Kalawska (54.58/20 points) and Ava Iannetta (54.93/16 points) finished ninth and 11th overall in the B-Finals. Also, in the B-Finals of the 200-yard freestyle, Heidi Bruiing (1:50.91/20 points) and Emilee Hamblin (1:49.72/17 points) placed ninth and 10th. Kaylee Hamblin took second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.41 scoring 28 points, while Juliana Kratka took 11th overall competing in the B-Finals with a time of 1:03.36 scoring 16 points.

Carlie Clements finished fifth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.43 scoring 25 points and Alayna Carlson placed seventh with a time of 54.70 and scored 23 points in the A-Finals. In the 400-yard medley relay, ECU finished sixth with a time of 3:41.47 scoring 48 points.
The Championship concludes Saturday, February 22 with prelims starting at 11:30 a.m. ET/10:30 a.m. CT and finals starting at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT. All sessions will air live on ESPN+.
