WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – East Carolina was unable to cool off a streaking William & Mary side Saturday afternoon in a 6-1 setback to the Tribe at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.

Anne Lou Champion and Martina Muzzolon got it done in doubles play on court three with a 6-3 victory, but William & Mary clinched the point with wins on courts one and two. Muzzolon came through again in singles action, downing Hedda Gurholt 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 1 position. However, the Tribe were the winners on each of the other courts to seal the match and improve to 6-0 at home.

Up Next: The Pirates are back in action Thursday, Feb. 27, when they head to Chapel Hill for a match with North Carolina in a 2 p.m. first serve.
