San Antonio, Texas – East Carolina seeks to snap its two-game skid on Saturday evening when the Pirates visit the Convocation Center to battle UTSA.
The game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. ET tip time and will be televised on ESPNU with David Saltzman (play-by-play) and Sean Harrington (analyst) on the call. Pirate fans can also tune in to 107.9 WNCT FM, 94.3 The Game or download the IBX app to hear Daron Vaught call the action.
The Pirates are led in scoring by graduate forward C.J. Walker's 17.8 points per game and the six-year veteran adds 6.8 rebounds per game as well. Preseason All-AAC Second Team guard RJ Felton adds 17.7 points per night and leads the team in rebounding with 7.4 boards per game while Jordan Riley averages 13.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg and a league-best 2.1 steals per game to round out ECU's top scorers. The trio of Felton, Walker, Riley makes up 65 percent of the Pirates' point production.

C.J. Walker scored a game-high 23 points, but East Carolina dropped its second straight game as the Pirates lost 73-60 to Rice on Wednesday night inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
Felton Closing In On Fifth All-Time
Felton is sixth all-time in career points in program history with 1,562 after passing Darrius Morrow (1,506 points) and the senior is nine points away from passing B.J. Tyson (1,570 points) at fifth. Felton is seventh all-time in three-pointers made with 196, has played in 114 games with ECU, made 91 starts and is fourth all-time in minutes played (3,404).
Scouting the Roadrunners
UTSA enters Saturday's game coming off a 61-60 loss at home to Tulane, in which the Roadrunners led for the entire second half until Tulane hit two free throws with two seconds left to steal the win on the road. Primo Spears is one of five Roadrunners that averages double figure scoring numbers with 20.5 points per game (3rd in AAC). UTSA's high-powered offense lets in fly from behind the arc as the Roadrunners lead the American in long-range attempts (608) and threes made per game (9.8).

East Carolina leads the all-time series with UTSA, 3-0, as the Pirates took last season's lone meeting on the road, 84-73, behind 13 made threes. ECU's previous two meetings with UTSA took place in 2014 when both schools were Conference USA members.
