CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The East Carolina women's swimming team completed its regular season schedule participating in the UNC Invite. Up next for the Pirates is the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championships that runs from Feb. 19-22 in Dallas, Texas.

Kaylee Hamblin took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.99 claiming the Pirates lone individual meet. She also helped the 400-yard medley relay team, that included Carlie Clements, Sara Kalawska and Heidi Bruining with a time of 3:41.22. Hamblin also placed third in the 200-yard breaststroke posting a time of 2:14.08.

Mikayla Durkin claimed a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (50.93) and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (23.49), while assisting the 200-yard freestyle relay to a second-place finish (1:32.62) and the 400-yard medley relay to a third-place finish (3:51.76).

Madison Joy placed fourth in a pair of events (100-yard backstroke) and 200-yard IM posting times of 55:97 and 2:07.12, while also serving as a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that took third. Emilee Hamblin placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.14) and Abbey Pickel finished fifth in the 100-yard butterfly (55:83).

ECU first and second in 200-yard medley relay and claimed the top four spots in the 400-yard medley relay.
