RALEIGH, N.C. – The East Carolina men's golf team posted a 13-over par (865) finishing in fourth place at the 2025 Stitch Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event was being held at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C. (par: 71, yardage: 7,171).

Junior Philip Linberg Bondetad paced the Pirates with a share of eighth place after carding a 1-over par 214, while sophomore Nathan O'Neal finished tied for 14th after shooting a 2-oover par 215. Freshman Holden Rucker shot a 3-over 216 for a share of 20th, his second consecutive Top 20 placement. Senior Carter Busse (10-over, 223) and Tyler DeChellis (16-over, 229) finished tied for 48th and 77th to round out the roster. Playing as an individual, Luke Mosely withdrew from the event following 36 holes of play.

Lipscomb won the team title after shooting a 1-over par 853 which was three shots better than UNCG (856). Host NC State took third (6-over, 858) followed by ECU and Wofford (15-over, 867) to round out the Top 5.

ECU returns to action Monday, April 21 when it participates in The American Championships. The three-day event will be played in Sarasota, Fla. At the Ritz-Carlton Members Club.
