Pirates Kick Off Fall Season at Tribe Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina tennis team will begin its 2025 fall season at William & Mary's Tribe Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Williamsburg, Va.
The event will be played both outdoors at the Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts and indoors at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. Other programs expected to compete include James Madison, Penn, Richmond and South Florida.
The Invitational includes singles and doubles compass draws. Saturday kicks off with two rounds of singles at 9 a.m., and one doubles round to follow. Sunday will feature the final two rounds of doubles beginning at 9 a.m. and one round of singles to close out the day. Singles matches will be the best two out of three sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of the third set. Doubles matches will be one set to six with seven-point breaker at six-all.
