September 15, 2025 | Soccer
IRVING, Texas – East Carolina soccer's Olivia Dietrich has been named the American Conference's Goalkeeper of the Week, the league announced Monday. Additionally, Alyssa Tucker has earned Honorable Mention recognition.
Â
Dietrich, a junior from Broomfield, Co., earns her weekly honor after making three saves in the Pirates' 2-0 shutout win over Tulsa on Thursday. The win was her third in goal for ECU and the shutout was her second solo clean sheet of the year. Two of her saves were highlight-reel stops on what looked to be sure Tulsa goals, including a one-on-one kick save on a breakaway for the Golden Hurricane's top-scoring Jordan Frederick.

Dietrich's player of the week honor is the first for the Pirates in 2025.
Â
Tucker, a junior from Raleigh, earns her Honorable Mention nod after scoring the game-winning goal in the third minute of the Tulsa win. She also led the Pirates with seven shots in the game.
