Zuniga and Bragantini Sweep American Conference Weekly Diving Honors

IRVING, Texas – Frida Zuniga and Cecilia Bragantini have been named the American Conference Diving Athlete of the Week and Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week respectively according to an announcement from the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Zuniga earns the honor for the fourth time this season and 11th time in her East Carolina career after posting scores of 302.78 in the 1-meter dive and 359.25 in the 3-meter dive at the Tribe Quad Meet last week.
Bragantini continues her impressive freshman season, earning her weekly honor for the second time this year after setting the program freshman record in the 1-meter (304.43) and recording a score of 272.93 in the 3-meter dive.
The Pirates will host their final meet of the regular season on Jan. 24 against Georgia Southern at 1:30 p.m.
