Track and Field Set to Clemson for Bob Pollock Invitational

Clemson, S.C. - The East Carolina University track & field teams are set to compete at the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, South Carolina, as part of their 2026 indoor season schedule. Â
The Pirates enter the Invitational carrying momentum from their last outing at the Dick Taylor Challenge, highlighted by standout performances in the horizontal jumps. Kira Hawaaboo paced on the women's side, winning the long jump with a personal-best leap of 5.89 meters. Her mark now places her among the nation's top competitors, ranking No. 92 in Division I. On the men's side, Jared Harrell continued ECU's success in the event, capturing the long jump title with a season-best mark of 7.21 meters to give the Pirates another event victory.Â
The two-day meet will take place Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31, at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex, where the first event of the meet is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, with the final event at 5:25 p.m. EST on Saturday evening.Â
