GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team heads back out on the road on Tuesday to take on the Tulane Green Wave in a 7:30 p.m. ET tilt in Devlin Fieldhouse. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with Jack Benjamin and Tiffany Aidoo on the call.

Last Time Out
The Pirates pulled away from Tulane in the fourth quarter for a 65-61 win on Tuesday. In a game with seven ties and lead changes, ECU used an 11-0 run across the end of the third and beginning of fourth quarter to take charge. The team was led by Kennedy Fauntleroy's 23 points while Savannah Brooks and Keanna Rembert both scored in double figures with 13 and 12 respectively. The game might not have been as close but for Tulane freshman Mecailin Marshall who put up 34 points on the day.

Scouting Temple
The Owls enter the game with a 10-13 record and a 4-7 clip in American Conference play after falling in a low-scoring 52-43 affair at UTSA on Tuesday night. For the season, Kaylah Turner continues to lead the team with an impressive 17.2 points per game, pacing four Temple players into double figures along with Tristen Taylor, Saniyah Craig and Jaleesa Molina. Craig and Molina lead the group in rebounding with 8.1 and 7.6 boards per game, respectively. As a team, the Owls have found themselves registering fairly average statistics across the board but for their three-point shooting where their 33.3 percent clip ranks second in the American Conference.

The Pirates and Owls met previously this season in Minges Coliseum on Jan. 17, an 81-65 ECU win. The team was led by Kennedy Fauntleroy's 27 points while also getting 16-point outings from both Savannah Brooks and Jayla Hearp. Temple was led by Kaylah Taylor's 17 points, right at her season average. Overall in the series, Temple leads 14-5 dating back to 2015 with the ECU win earlier this season snapping a three-game streak for the Owls over the Pirates.

With the win at Tulane, the Pirates have won five consecutive road games for the first time since 1991-92. That was also the last time the team won five straight road games in league play. Additionally, the Tulane win was the first road win over the Green Wave since Jan. 2015.

Through 24 games, the Pirates rank 22nd in the NCAA in free throws made per game (15.32), 23rd in turnover margin (+5.90) and 23rd in turnovers forced per game (21.08). Individually, Kennedy Fauntleroy ranks 20th in the nation in steals with 67. This ranks first in the American Conference. Fauntleroy is also up to 47th nationally in assists with 114.
