ECU Finishes Seventh At American Conference Championship

SARASOTA, Fla. – The East Carolina men's golf team concluded its season at the American Conference Men's Golf Championship finishing in seventh place Wednesday afternoon. The three-day event is being held at the par-72, 7,417-yard Ritz-Carlton Members Club.

The Pirates finished the championship with an even-par score of 864 (282-291-291) where they carded a 3-over par in the final round. Charlotte won the team title with a score of 816 (48-under), while Memphis (833/31-under) placed second. Rounding out the top five were Rice (836/28-under), South Florida (840/24-under) and UAB (846/18-under).

Drew O'Neal led the Pirates shooting a 4-under par 212 (68-73-71) finishing tied for 14th. Luke Mosley posted a final round 73 (2-over) finishing the event with a score of 217 (1-over) for a share of 25th, while Nathan O'Neal also carded a final round 73 for a three-over par 219 (71-75-73) tying for 32nd.

Philip Linberg Bondestad (74-71-76) and Oscar Crowe (75-72-74) finished tied for 39th with tournament scores of 221 (5-over).
