Kevin And Addie Miller Make Legacy Gift To Pirates Unite Campaign

Investment From ECU Alums Will Support Golf Building And Isley Indoor Performance Center
GREENVILLE, N.C. – Former East Carolina University student-athletes Kevin and Addie Miller, including their children Rylee and Sevie, have made a Legacy Gift to the Pirates Unite Campaign, further strengthening the future of ECU Athletics through an investment in two transformational facility projects.

The Millers' gift will support the new golf building currently under construction at Ironwood Golf & Country Club and the Isley Performance Center, a state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open later this year for use by all Pirate student-athletes.

The Miller family has deep roots in Pirate Athletics and has continued to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to East Carolina long after their playing careers concluded. Addie Miller was a four-year member of the ECU softball program as a catcher, helping lead the Pirates to 199 victories during her career. She was part of the 1999 team that became the first in program history to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. She earned both a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from East Carolina.

Kevin Miller enjoyed one of the most decorated careers in ECU Athletics history and was inducted into the ECU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019. A four-year letterman on the football team from 1999-2002, he graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer with 287 career points as a placekicker while setting 16 school kicking and scoring records. He earned Freshman All-America and All-Conference USA honors during his career and was also a two-year letterman on the Pirates golf team. He earned his bachelor's degree in communications.
