Wilson Finishes Tied For Third, Pirates Place Third

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Hallie Wilson registered her first career top 5 collegiate finish earning all-tournament honors with a share of third place at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. The Pirates finished in third posting an even par score of 864. The two-day, 54-hole event was being played at Greenville Country Club (par 72, 5,944 yards).

Wilson carded a 6-under par 210 (70-75-65) to lead the Pirates, while Hannah Barrett finished tied for eighth after a 3-under par 213 (68-73-72). Nicole Nash claimed a share of 14th with a 1-under par 215 (67-73-75). Rounding out the Pirates roster were Isabella Taylor-Stokes (11-over, 227) and Madison Rizzo (14-over, 230).

Playing as individuals were Lisa Forss who finished tied for 31st at 6-over (222), Louise Krawiec in a share of 52nd at 14-0ver (230) and Ella Stalvey in a tie fir 70th at 23-over (239).

NC State won the team title with a score of 851 (13-under) followed by UNC Greensboro at 860 (4-under), East Carolina at 864 (even par), Longwood at 868 (4-over) and Stetson at 872 (8-over) for top 5 finishes.

ECU returns to the course Monday, Sept. 14 participating in the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington, Ky.
