Mosley Finishes Tied For Second To Pace ECU At River Run Collegiate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Luke Mosley carded a 3-under par 213 finishing tied for second place at the River Run Collegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event was being played at the River Run Country Club (par 72; 7,317 yards). For Mosley its his best career finish and third-lowest 54-hole collegiate score.

Mosley carded rounds of 69, 73 and 71 which included eight birdies, five bogeys and 41 pars. Nathan O'Neal finished tied for tenth for his sixth career Top 10 with rounds of 75, 71 and 71 for a 1-over par 217. Oscar Crowe claimed a share of 21st with a score of 222 (6-over/73-76-73), while Josh Davies finished tied for 27th at 223 (7-over/71-73-79) followed by Holden Rucker is a tied for 52nd at 230 (14-over/76-76-78).

ECU finished tied for third with Dayton after posting a tournament score of 874 (10-over) with rounds of 288, 293 and 293. Presbyterian won the team title with a score of 869 (5-over) followed by host institution Davidson at 870 (6-over). Rounding out the Top 5 was Towson in fifth at 879 (15-over).

ECU returns to action on Monday, Sept. 28 when it hosts the Ironwood Collegiate Classic. The two-day, 54 hole event will be played at the Ironwood Golf and Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
