Brittany Harward joined the ECU Football staff on a full-time basis as an administrative assistant in 2014, but her association with the Pirate program dates back five years earlier.Â
In her current role, Harward assists with budget/fiscal management and provides direct clerical and recruiting-related travel support for the assistant coaching staff. Additionally, she often serves as ECU's first point of contact with NFL scouting personnel and helps coordinate the Pirates' annual Pro Day event.
As an undergraduate in 2009, Harward accepted a student office assistant's position under then head coach Skip Holtz. After a one-year stint as an equipment room aide in 2012, she returned to the football office until graduation.Â
Harward, a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), also worked briefly for local NBC affiliate WITN as its morning show videographer in 2014 before rejoining the ECU Football program in a full-time capacity.Â
After earning a health fitness specialist degree from ECU in 2013, the former Brittany Smith married Bobby Harward in 2016.
She is a native of Greenville, N.C.
